Climate
The coniferous climate is assorted in many temperatures like the cold and hot days. The biome coniferous, is in the Köppen's Dfc category for climates. The letters for Dfc each have a meaning. For example, "D" is for its snow climate, the "f" means that it has enough precipitation in all 12 months, and "c" means that the average temperature is in excessive of 10°C (50°F) in less than 4 months.
The coniferous's climate is mostly cold at times because of its cold winter breezes that is brought from the Arctic circle. Especially when the night is cleared of clouds, the temperature drops and is bitterly cold. Because of the Earth's tilt, 23.5°, the coniferous forest is to be cold when winter draws closer because it is turned away from the Sun. So, this makes it very difficult for the Sun's ray to reach the ground of the coniferous forest to heat it up.
Here is a list of the coniferous's highest and lowest temperatures:
Winter's COLDEST temperature: -54° C (-65°F)
Winter's WARMEST temperature: -1° C (30°F)
Summer's COLDEST temperature: -1° C (30°F)
Summer's WARMEST temperature: 21°C (70°F)
The average temperature in the coniferous forest is -54 to 21° C (-65° F to 70°F) so that would mean half of the year would be below freezing.
In the northern hemisphere, the coniferous climate would be the only biome found because the land mass in the western, southern, and eastern hemisphere would not be big enough for the coniferous to be formed.
Analysis:
The coniferous forest is affected in both ways which are the climate and location. A reason why the location has affected the coniferous forest is because it's in a place where the climate is rather cold which makes the animals and plants harder for them to adapt.
